On your first visit, you can expect to fill out a health history form. The chiropractor then will go over your history, look at imaging and other test results available, and perform a thorough physical examination. After the exam, the Doctor will go over the results and determine if chiropractic care is safe and what chiropractic technique would be most helpful and answer any questions you might have. Dr. Casteel is a conservative and gentle adjuster that uses techniques she learned in chiropractic school and post graduate school. She stresses the importance of communication with her patients, so they are comfortable, relaxed, and can feel confident in the care they receive. After the adjustment, Dr. Casteel will discuss lifestyle changes and tips to get the most out of your chiropractic care. This includes drinking enough water, stretches, and ice/heat home therapy. She will also discuss your personal treatment plan, as every patient heals differently.
