Dr. Samantha Neuwirth

Samantha Neuwirth, MD

Pain Management Medical Director

Dr. Neuwirth provides services to our clinic several days a month. She performs follow-up visits, injection therapy and offers additional options for our patient’s pain control. Dr. Neuwirth is Board Eligible in Anesthesia. Dr. Neuwirth attended her undergraduate training at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. From there she moved on to the University of Chicago, a top ten ranked medical school. She completed her residency in anesthesia and further fellowship training in interventional pain management at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics.

Tiffany Fetterman

Tiffany Fetterman, CRNP

 Behavioral Health / Pain Management

Tiffany Fetterman is a Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner (CRNP). Tiffany received her bachelor’s degree as a Registered Nurse at Saint Francis University in Loretto, PA and her master’s degree in Family Nurse Practitioner at Chamberlain University in Downers Grove, Illinois. She is certified through the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. Prior to attending school for her master’s degree, Tiffany worked as a Registered Nurse at Conemaugh Hospital for six years, receiving experience in a vast amount of specialties as a float nurse. After receiving her master’s degree, she worked in Rheumatology for two years. Tiffany also works with Hospice, providing face-to-face encounters and with a medical center providing clinical assessments.  Tiffany became a part of The Caring Healthcare Network in 2019 and works with both behavioral health and pain management patients.

Adam Paronish

Adam Paronish, CRNP

Pain Management

Adam Paronish is a Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner. He received his bachelor’s degree from Mount Aloysius College and his master’s degree from Chamberlain University. Adam worked as a registered nurse in telemetry and progressive care for approximately 11 years. Adam joined The Caring Healthcare Network in July of 2019.


Sarah Steele

Billing Specialist

Sarah began with The Caring Healthcare Network in 2014 when we were just getting started. She has enjoyed working with the local community and expanding/ creating a multi-specialty clinic that provides a variety of services and she continues to share the passion and expanded vision of our CEO. Sarah currently work in the billing department and all the challenges that creates and presents although she enjoys her work with this company and our patients. Her hobby outside of work is baking cupcakes and providing these tidbits of delight for all occasions. Always a joy to bring a smile with a cupcake!

Younkin, Tammy

Tammy Younkin

Human Resources Specialist

Tammy started in November 2020 as the HR Specialist, working in both office locations. She brings 30 years of administration and payroll experience to the organization, primarily in the healthcare environment while working with hospitals, EMS and chiropractic facilities. Tammy has one son, who she believes is her greatest accomplishment. When she is not spending time with family and friends, she enjoys being outdoors and reading.


Brittany Brewer, CRNP

 Primary Care / Pain Management

Brittany Brewer is a Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner (CRNP). Brittany received her nursing degree as a Registered Nurse from Conemaugh School of Nursing in Johnstown, PA and her master’s degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner from Simmons University in Boston, MA. She is certified through the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. Prior to attending school for her master’s degree, Brittany worked as a Registered Nurse at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center for seven years, where she accumulated a great deal of experience on a medical-surgical inpatient unit. Brittany became a part of The Caring Healthcare Network in 2020 and works with both primary care and pain management patients.

Katherine Casteel

Dr. Katherine Casteel


Dr. Katie Casteel joined the Caring Healthcare Network in January 2018. She graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa receiving her Doctorate of Chiropractic and Bachelors in Science. Dr. Katie has been practicing chiropractic in the Philipsburg community for over six years. She not only sees patients for pain management, but patients of all ages for treatments ranging from sports injuries, car accidents, work injuries, and wellness. She also is very knowledgeable in holistic medicine and living a healthy lifestyle. Since graduating, Dr. Casteel has taken continuing education courses specializing in pediatric chiropractic care, animal chiropractic care, sports medicine and nutrition.


Casey Wesdock


Casey graduated from Penn State University in 2001 with a Bachelor of Science in Human Development and Family Studies. She then went on to work in the Drug and Alcohol field for several years, which included various roles from Outpatient Counseling and Case Management, to working with the MAT population. In 2011 Casey enrolled at Temple University for a Master's in Social Work, from which she graduated in 2014 and subsequently completed 3000 hours of clinical supervision toward obtainment of her Clinical Licensure. Prior to joining CHN she owned a solo Private Practice from 2018-2021 that was located in Clearfield, PA - named Sage Counseling Services LLC - where she specialized in Family Therapy and Co Parent Facilitation.

Alice McLaughlin (2)

Alice McLaughlin

Back office

Alice is a Certified Medical Assistant working in the back office at the Altoona Clinic. She has two associates degrees. Her first associates degree is in Medical Secretarial Sciences, graduating from the Altoona School of Commerce in 1989. In 2016 at the age of 52, she attended YTI to be a Certified Medical Assistant/Certified Phlebotomy Technician. After graduating YTI, she started working at UPMC in the Stroke/Neuro unit as a certified medical assistant, then transferred to the level II trauma unit/Emergency Department as an emergency room technician. Alice's interests include researching science/psychology, epigenetic, NDE’s, alternatives healing methods and ancient history/religions. In her spare time she enjoys helping and spending time with her two children, three grandchildren, dog and cat, as well as her sisters and their families when possible. I also enjoy reading, gardening, painting and repurposing antiques and “Old Irish”/ Crochet.


Erica Rose

Front office

Erica has been with The Caring Healthcare Network since August 2020.  She has an Associates in Administrative Medical Assistant from DuBois Business College. Erica has been in healthcare for 20 years. She loves spending time with family and the outdoors.

Bethany Jasper, RT

Radiologic Technician

Bethany joined the Caring Healthcare Network in 2018. Bethany is a US Air Force veteran. She has 18 years of experience in the radiology field including, routine x-ray, fluoroscopy procedures and CT scan. Bethany also does lab draws, IV starts and EKG. She is skilled in all aspects of medical assisting.

Nicole Winters

Lab Technician

Nicole graduated from the University of Pikeville in May of 2019 with a Bachelors degree in Biology and recently completed her Associates of Science in August of 2020. She started working for the Caring Healthcare Network on December 7, 2020 as lab technician. In Nicole's spare time she loves to be outdoors hiking or kayaking, traveling as much as possible, and spending time with her pups!
