Front Office Manager

When you enter the Caring Healthcare Network Altoona office, you will be greeted by our front office staff, Erica. Erica joined the Caring Healthcare Network in 2019. She has a Bachelors degree in Marketing with a minor is graphic design. She is a family oriented individual who enjoys cooking and traveling.

Kelly is a Licensed Practical Nurse who joined the Caring Healthcare Network in 2019. She graduated from GACTC and has 20 years of experience as an LPN.  She has worked in long term care, clinical research and pediatrics.

Dr. Samantha Neuwirth

Samantha Neuwirth, MD

Pain Management Medical Director

Dr. Neuwirth provides services to our clinic several days a month. She performs follow-up visits, injection therapy and offers additional options for our patient’s pain control. Dr. Neuwirth is Board Eligible in Anesthesia. Dr. Neuwirth attended her undergraduate training at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. From there she moved on to the University of Chicago, a top ten ranked medical school. She completed her residency in anesthesia and further fellowship training in interventional pain management at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics.

Radiologic Technician

Bethany joined the Caring Healthcare Network in 2018. Bethany is a US Air Force veteran. She has 18 years of experience in the radiology field including, routine x-ray, fluoroscopy procedures and CT scan. Bethany also does lab draws, IV starts and EKG. She is skilled in all aspects of medical assisting.

Lisa Detwiler

Lisa Detwiler, M.A., LPC, NCC

Behavioral Health Therapist

Lisa Detwiler is a Licensed Professional Counselor as well as a Nationally Certified Counselor. She obtained bachelor degrees in both Counseling and Biblical Studies from Geneva College located in Beaver Falls, PA. Lisa completed her master’s degree in Counseling with a concentration in marriage and family from Geneva College. She has over 20 years of experience working in the counseling field and has had the privilege of serving children, adolescents, adults, couples and families. Lisa has a passion for families and has worked in family-based services, family reunification as well as the partial hospitalization level of care as an individual and family therapist. She specializes in depression, anxiety, grief and trauma, as well as couples and marriage issues. Lisa has been an associate in a private group practice for the past four years. Along side of her passion for serving others, Lisa is passionate about her husband and 3 boys. In her spare time, she enjoys fishing and spending time on the lake.

Tiffany Fetterman

Tiffany Fetterman, CRNP

 Behavioral Health / Pain Management

Tiffany Fetterman is a Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner (CRNP). Tiffany received her bachelor’s degree as a Registered Nurse at Saint Francis University in Loretto, PA and her master’s degree in Family Nurse Practitioner at Chamberlain University in Downers Grove, Illinois. She is certified through the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. Prior to attending school for her master’s degree, Tiffany worked as a Registered Nurse at Conemaugh Hospital for six years, receiving experience in a vast amount of specialties as a float nurse. After receiving her master’s degree, she worked in Rheumatology for two years. Tiffany also works with Hospice, providing face-to-face encounters and with a medical center providing clinical assessments.  Tiffany became a part of The Caring Healthcare Network in 2019 and works with both behavioral health and pain management patients.

Katherine Casteel

Dr. Katherine Casteel


Dr. Katie Casteel joined the Caring Healthcare Network in January 2018. She graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa receiving her Doctorate of Chiropractic and Bachelors in Science. Dr. Katie has been practicing chiropractic in the Philipsburg community for over six years. She not only sees patients for pain management, but patients of all ages for treatments ranging from sports injuries, car accidents, work injuries, and wellness. She also is very knowledgeable in holistic medicine and living a healthy lifestyle. Since graduating, Dr. Casteel has taken continuing education courses specializing in pediatric chiropractic care, animal chiropractic care, sports medicine and nutrition.

Adam Paronish

Adam Paronish, CRNP

Pain Management

Adam Paronish is a Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner. He received his bachelor’s degree from Mount Aloysius College and his master’s degree from Chamberlain University. Adam worked as a registered nurse in telemetry and progressive care for approximately 11 years. Adam joined The Caring Healthcare Network in July of 2019.

Kathy Hockenberry

Kathy Hockenberry, LCSW

Behavioral Health Therapist

Kathy is a licensed clinical social worker with training in the Family Systems Theory Model.  Kathy graduated from the University of Pittsburgh Johnstown with her Master of Social Work. She earned a Bachelor of Science from Penn State University in Individual and Family Studies in 1989.  Kathy had the honor of receiving the Child-Centered Award from the Blair County Child and Adolescent Service System Program in 1997. Kathy has 30 years of experience working in the behavioral health field ranging from providing mental health case management with children and adolescents to providing family systems focused therapy with children and adolescents and families in the home environment. Kathy enjoys a variety of interests such as traveling and spending time with her family and two dogs. She also enjoys working with the youth in her church and serves as the youth director. Kathy joined The Caring Healthcare Network in July 2019.

Kari has been with The Caring Healthcare Network since February 2020.  She has worked in the medical field since 2005.  Kari is very community minded and holds two board seats in the American Legion which holds many fundraisers to benefit the community.
